Gmail Spam Filter Effectiveness released a non-scientific report on the effectiveness of the Gmail spam filter. Here are some of the results from their February 7th to March 7th study:
  • Total Emails for Time Period: 404
  • Legit Emails: 66
  • Total Spam Emails: 327
  • Spam Correctly Identified: 312
  • Spam Not Identified: 15
